This address is to the Buffalo Bayou Park Welcome Center. It is the closest address to the bayou. You walk down the stairs to the bayou to find the kayaks. To maintain the integrity of the bayou, we bring out all gear for the day on the days we are open. On the days we are closed you will not see us on the Bayou.

Kayak and Canoe Rentals on Buffalo Bayou
The rental stand is situated on one of Houston’s favorite outdoor oasis, Buffalo Bayou, which features miles of beautiful trails, points of interest and wildlife. Get to know Houston like you have never seen before. Our location is off the walking path next to the Bayou at Sabine St Bridge. Just head down the stairs on the date we are open and you will see the kayaks.
Ideal for an outing with the entire family or friends, paddle craft rentals are available by the hour. We have a full fleet of paddle craft available including tandem kayaks, single kayaks, and canoes. They are perfect for navigating the paddle trail within Buffalo Bayou Park.

NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED. Simply come down to the bayou and have fun!
NOTICE: The paddle trip on Buffalo Bayou is an out and back. The bayou does not flow in a circle.

Single Kayak $30
Tandem Kayak $40
Tandem Canoe $65
All Rentals include a life jacket and paddle.
You will be required to leave a credit card and picture ID to rent a boat.

SPECIAL: Get your kayak rental before 2:00pm, we will add an extra hour at no extra cost!!!
Note: If you book the shuttle with your rental there are no hourly limits, but the paddle is 3 hours, so bring a snack and enjoy the paddle with no rush!!
SHUTTLE
Are you looking for a longer paddle? You can add on a shuttle to your rental and get transported up to Woodway Memorial Park and then paddle back down to Sabine st.
You can also just book the shuttle alone and transport your own personal boat.
To add the shuttle it costs an additional $20 per boat and you MUST make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance.
